Crowe Church was organized around the year 1876.
Willis Mainord was one of the first founders of the church.
At the time the church was started, church was held in an old
log school house on the property where the church is now.
It continued on there until 1901.
At this time the congregation decided to build a new church
at La Forge, however just 1 year after it was completed
it was destroyed by a tornado.
The congregation then returned to the old log school house
until they moved into the church we are in today.
No one knows exactly what year that was, for some
records were lost over the years.
Many years have gone by, with many inprovements, but the atmosphere is still the same as in years gone by.
