Easter Sunday
Calendar Ms. Kathy and the kids did a wonderful job on the play this year, aptly named, "A Christmas Play".
Ms. Kathy played a mom who is too busy with all the unimportant details of the occasion to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas.
When fatigue sets in she nods off, she is visited by the angels of
Joy, Peace, Hope, Love.
This makes her remember what the true spirit of Christmas is about. So off she goes to the Nursing Home with her children to sing carols and see the little children portraying the Manger Scene.
It was funny but meaningful also.
The day our most precious gift came to live among men.
Praise God!

Hayride and Bonfire
October 18, 2008
The weather was perfect and everyone had a wonderful time on the Hayride. We came back and there was a bonfire for roasting hotdogs and marshmellows. Afterward there was stickhorse racing and sunflower seed spitting contests for the kids. Lots of good stories of days gone by were told while sitting around the bonfire.

The Lord is so good and we give Him all the praise for the safe, happy time we all had together.

We would like to thank Larry and Pattie White for hosting the Hayride.

Fall Revival
On September 12 and 13 Bro. Marty Carlisle was the speaker for a weekend revival. Due to the wind storm that blew through our area Sunday services had to be called off. Never the less, God provided spiritual nurishment just when it was needed. All were blessed by the messages that God laid on Bro. Marty's heart to preach and we pray that God will continue to bless him, his family and ministry.

"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, will I forgive their sin, and heal their land." 2 Chron. 7:14
There is Power in the Blood!
Lisa Polvick and the Praise Group Singers from Liberty Baptist Church Murray, Kentucky had a special singing at our church on August 31. It was a homecoming for Lisa who grew up in Crowe church.  Bro. Dick Mainord, her father who was the preacher during those years was in attendance. It was so spiritual and everyone enjoyed it so much.
May God richly bless each one of them and their church. 
Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one heart and purpose.  Philippians 2:2
On August 24, Bro. Kevin fulfilled the pledge he had made. Earlier this summer he challenged the congregation to exceed 50 in attendance on a Sunday morning. If we did he would paint his head or wear a wig, whichever was decided. On Youth Sunday the attendance was 57 and true to his word Bro. Kevin donned the wig!

Summer Revival

We were happy to have Bro. David back for our Summer Revival. Praise God, he brought the rain and spirit filled messages with him every night. We are thankful for the teaching from God's holy bible and uplifting of our spirits. We pray that God will continue to bless him and his family.

What a wonderful time in the Lord!
